A Jihad For Love

Are sexual orientation and religious beliefs mutually exclusive or are they so intertwined that admitting that you are a member of the LGBT community seals your fate with God? In the Muslim world, Quranic interpretations force communities to monitor, imprison, torture and even execute homosexuals. Jihad for Love follows and interviews individuals who out themselves and choose to become refugees in other countries; hide their identity to keep their religion; or are open and persecuted for remaining with their faith.
