Meet the Cast

  1. - In her television acting debut, Jaquie Brown parodies herself by playing an insecure and misguided reporter with an addiction to fame. Jaquie is prepared to do whatever it takes to secure her position as the channel's no. 1 light relief reporter, even if it means making some morally reprehensible decisions in the process.

  2. - The stunning Hannah Banks plays conniving network publicist Kim Sharee. Like Jaquie, Kim is also a woman who puts her career before everything else. In the tradition of great PR agents, there is no task too difficult and no morals to consider when it comes to getting the best for her stable of network show ponies.

  3. - Madeleine Sami plays Serita Singh, the new face picked to appeal to the channel's multi ethnic viewers. Annoyingly beautiful, smart and resourceful, Singh threatens to destroy everything that Jaquie has not worked very hard for.

  4. - Jonathan Brugh plays star anchor Ian McHuntly. Ian's a consummate professional in the world of broadcasting with charm and charisma that requires several power naps a day to reboot. Off camera Ian also has a shocking vocabulary and a keen eye for the ladies.

  1. - Geeling Ng plays Elena, the controlling producer of McHuntly at Seven. Elena rules with an iron fist and opts to be feared rather than loved.

  2. - Ryan Lampp plays Tom, Brown's freeloading flat mate who is pursuing a hopeless career as a stand up comedian / actor / writer. While he might share Jaquie's lazy work ethic, he still has his morals in tact. Tom tries to remind Jaquie that there are more important things in life than status.
