A pioneer for future contestants on Drag Race, this queen has been working non-stop since season one. Ready to rock on this season's Drag U, Bebe Zahara Benet gives us sass and ass and is sure to have her students leaving Drag U with their master's degree in Face, Face, Face!
Professor - This New Jersey Diva had us gagging with envy on this season of RuPaul's Drag Race, and for a good reason! Carmen Carrera, born Christopher Roman on April 13th, 1985 has the body of a goddess and sex appeal of a Victoria Secrets Model. It's no surprise that she was a part of "The Heather's"! Cocky and confident, Carmen is a professional makeup artist/photographer who is happily married and a stepmother. Carmen's mother has always supported her career and her drag name stems from her mother's first name. This Glamazon is ready to school all the girls on campus and make them as comfortable in their skin as she is!
Professor - Jujubee was born Airline Inthyrath on June 21, 1984 in Boston, Massachusetts. Jujubee is very proud of her Laotian background, and resides in Boston, Massachusetts with the love of her life and partner Christopher. Since appearing on Drag Race, and RuPaul's Drag U she has been performing all over the country and was also a guest star on RuPaul's video "Jealous Of My Boogie." Back for Drag U Season Two, fiercer than ever, Jujubee is ready to teach her students how to shake it til' you make it!
Professor - Manila Luzon was born Karl "with a K" Westerberg on August 10th 1984 in Minneapolis. Ms. Luzon moved to New York City at the first chance she could and hasn't looked back since! This Asian Glamasaurus, whose fashion and beauty garner the attention of everyone in the room, was the runner up for this season of RuPaul's Drag Race! A staple to NYC's nightlife, Manila is a renowned professional graphic designer, artist, and in a relationship with Sahara Davenport of RuPaul's Drag Race Season 2. Hilarious and witty, this disco queen is ready to win the hearts of all her students.
Professor - Mariah Paris Balenciaga was born on February 13th in Atlanta, Georgia. This glamazon is 6'2" with legs like a racehorse! Mariah aka "Mug 4 Dayz" is a legendary face diva, who specializes in the art of the ballroom circuit. Miss Balenciaga is a renowned celebrity hairstylist and recently competed on RuPaul's Drag Race Season Three. Since the show, Mariah's career has intensely escalated and she is ready to show her skills on campus. Drag U better watch out...this Queen is ready to put some bass in her student's walk.
Professor - The Scottish Scandal, Morgan McMichaels is not new to The Drag Scene. Prior to being a contestant on RuPaul's Drag Race Season Two and a Professor at RuPaul's Drag U Season One, she was the WeHo Award Winner for "The Most Outstanding Entertainer". Morgan has taken California by storm, performing at all the top Drag Shows, and doing one of the best PINK impersonations one may ever see! From San Diego to Palm Springs, there isn't a show where you can't find Morgan lip-syncing for her life. Morgan McMichaels' drag name came from many places. He took 'Morgan' from Morgan le Fay the queen of the fairies and 'McMichaels' came from her Drag Mother the legendary Chad Michaels and Drag Father Adam Magee. Back at Drag U, with the energy of a feisty feline...Miss Morgan McMichaels can't wait to turn her students into the self-assured Queen she is!
Professor - From one of the thousands of tiny islands in the Philippines comes a mighty, powerful force known as Ongina! Ongina, also know as Ryan Ong Palao moved to the United States in 1994 and has survived the rain in Seattle, the winters of New York and now the traffic of Los Angeles where he currently resides and works. It was in New York that he found his love of androgynous gender bending drag and continues to push the envelope by wearing headpieces rather than wigs. With time comes change, and RuPaul's Drag U Season Two fans just might be lucky enough to catch Ongina in a fierce wig or two this season! Since revealing he is HIV positive on Season One of RuPaul's Drag Race, Ongina is now a spokesperson for HIV+ME for Logo TV, which provides outreach to youth about their experiences living with HIV and its impact on their lives. One thing is for sure; Ongina will steal your heart while making you the fiercest diva in school.
Professor - Pandora Boxx first appeared as a contestant on RuPaul's Drag Race Season Two. Despite not winning, Pandora proved to be the break-out star and was named by Entertainment Weekly "as their America's Next Drag Superstar." Her popularity lead to becoming a drag professor on RuPaul's Drag U Season One and now she's back for Season Two! Pandora hosted One Night Stand Up: Dragtastic NYC, which also aired on Logo. One thing is for sure, Pandora will crack us up and teach her students to embrace the superstar that lies within!
Professor - Raven was born David Petruschin on April 8, 1979 in Rexburg, Idaho. This edgy and feisty Queen currently lives Riverside, California, with his dog Blu. Before appearing on Drag Race Season Two and Drag U Season One, David worked as a cosmetics retailer and freelance makeup artist. Raven is now a fulltime professional drag performer and host, celebrity makeup artist and is consistently booking appearances all across the nation. Poised and professional, Raven is one of the fiercest Queens to walk the runway! Raven has the charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent to tell it like it is. Watch out Drag U this Glamazon is back to rule the school.
Professor - Shannel was born Bryan Watkins in Orange County, California and has been a professional makeup artist for 15 years. Shannel was a member of An Evening at La Cage in Las Vegas as both Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand and also had her own Sin City Circus Revue production at The Las Vegas Players Club Casino in downtown Vegas. Since competing on RuPaul's Drag Race Season One and as a Professor on RuPaul's Drag U Season One, Shannel moved to Los Angeles where he currently lives and works. He has even created his own "how to" makeup DVD called "Face the Illusion". Shannel takes her artistic gift seriously and is back at Drag U to bring out the glamour and confidence in every student she meets.
Professor - Tyra Sanchez, aka "The Other Tyra", aka "America's Sweetheart" was born in Gainesville, Florida on April 22nd, 1988 to Angelina and James W. Ross. Tyra won RuPaul's Drag Race Season Two and currently lives in Atlanta with his adorable son Jeremiah and girlfriend Taylor. Known for her big hair and 6'5 height, Ms. Sanchez has continued to entertain fans everywhere, performing in places such as Belize, Cozumel, Los Angeles, & New York. Tyra Sanchez is back in the spotlight on this season of Drag U and is ready to pump her way back into our hearts!
