Full Summary

  1. RuPaul and your favorite queens are back! The Dean of Drag has finally opened her "school for girls!" at RuPaul's Drag U, where biological women (the kind who don't have to tuck) undergo extreme transformations...drag queen style. Our pupils are frumpy, shy and anything but self-confident; but with the insight and instruction of beloved Drag Race alums, our once demure dames unleash their inner Divas and perform a musical number in front of a live audience that includes their loved ones. Only one woman can be valedictorian of her class, but all drag-uate with sass, self-respect, and the sense that anything is possible. Watch your favorite queens bring fabulousness to the ladies in this hysterical spin-off from RuPaul's Drag Race creators World of Wonder.

Meet the Cast

  1. Professor - Jujubee was born Airline Inthyrath on June 21, 1984 in Boston, Massachusetts. Jujubee is very proud of her Laotian background and still resides in Boston with her partner Christopher. Since appearing on RuPaul's Drag Race, she has been performing all over the country with the RuPaul's Drag Race Tour and was also a guest star in RuPaul's video "Jealous of My Boogie."

  2. Professor - Morgan McMichaels is not new to the drag scene. Morgan, aka "The Scottish Scandal" is a cast member of the longest running female impersonating cabaret show "The Dream Girls Revue" in Southern California. If Morgan wasn't a drag queen, she would probably be finished with school and working in the medical field; before moving to Los Angeles from Scotland, she was studying to be an immunologist.

  3. Professor - Nina Flowers was born Jorge Flores on February 22, 1974 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. In addition to being a drag queen, she is a musician, a DJ, an activist, and a professional make-up artist. She started her drag career at local San Juan gay venues such as Krash (also known as Eros) and Club Lazer. In 1999, she won both the Miss Puerto Rico Continental and Miss City Lights Continental pageants.

  4. Professor - Ongina, also known as Ryan Ong Palao, is from a tiny island in the Phillipines. Moving to the United States in 1994, Ongina has survived the rain in Seattle, the winters in New York, and now, the traffic of Los Angeles. It was in New York where Ryan found his love of androgynous gender-bending drag, continuing to push the envelope by wearing headpieces rather than wigs. He currently resides in Los Angeles where he works as a visual merchandiser for a specialty retail boutique.

  1. Professor - Pandora Boxx wrote, directed, and appeared in the short film "Mrs. Kasha Davis: The Wife of An International Housewife Celebrity," and also wrote a comedic murder mystery play called "The Lipstick Massacre." Currently, Pandora lives in Rochester and hosts the Tilt-A-Whirl event every Thursday night at Tilt nightclub. Since RuPaul's Drag Race, she's been performing in nightclubs all over the country.

  2. Professor - Raven was born David Petruschin on April 8. 1979 in Riverside, California, where he currently lives with his dog Blu. Before appearing on RuPaul's Drag Race and RuPaul's Drag U, she worked as a cosmetics salesperson and freelance makeup artist. Raven is now a full-time professional drag performer and hosts Drag Idol at Oasis nightclub. Raven was also featured in Cycle 8 of America's Next Top Model.

  3. Professor - Shannel was born Bryan Watkins in Orange County, California. She currently lives in Las Vegas, "the city of sin," where she hosts her own cabaret show and works as a makeup artist and female impersonator. She was a member of "An Evening at La Cage" as both Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand and had her own Sin City Circus Revue production at The Las Vegas Players Club Casino in downtown Vegas.

  4. Professor - Tammie Brown, aka Keith Glen Schubert (born September 15, 1980), is a gay American singer, actor and drag performer. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, Tammie started her auspicious career performing as Cha Cha from the musical "Grease" and as the wicked stepmother from "Into the Woods." She is currently working on her second album titled "Hot Skunkz," featuring hits such as "Rain or Shine" and "Disco's Undead."
