Already gearing up for Pride 2017, adidas has revealed a sneak peek at its latest LGBT-inspired sneaker.
The shoe brand unveiled the adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 LGBT this week. It features a black Primeknit woven upper, matching black laces, a black outsole and a playful, rainbow graphic on the heel cap.
Though adidas has yet to reveal any specific details regarding an official release date or pricing information, the shoe is expected to drop sometime in May.
This isn't the first time the brand has celebrated the LGBT community by giving one of its classic silhouettes a Pride makeover.
Earlier this year, the shoe company made headlines for adding a new clause into its sponsorship contracts ensuring athletes that they wouldn't lose adidas' backing if they came out.
“Adidas acknowledges and adheres to the principles of diversity, as this is a central part of the adidas group philosophy,” read the updated clause. “Therefore adidas warrants that this agreement will neither be terminated nor modified in case the athlete comes out to the public as a member of the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) community.”
