Descendants, the crazy-popular TV movie about the children of famous Disney villains, is getting a sequel.

Directed by Kenny Ortega (High School Musical), the film stars Dove Cameron as Maleficent's daughter, Mal; whose posse includes Jafar's son Jay (Booboo Stewart) and Evie (Sofia Carson), the daughter of Snow White’s Evil Queen.

Fans on Twitter are hoping Descendants 2 will feature Disney Channel's first live-action LGBT character.

One shipper is hoping Cruella De Vil's son, Carlos (Cameron Boyce), is the one who comes out.

But Dove replied to her tweet that maybe Mal & Evie should be Auradon Prep's first queer couple. And it looks like Sofia agrees.

We're on board. Who wouldn't want to see these two adorable characters go from BFFs to happily ever after?

Fans also ship Carlos and Jay—and Carlos and Prince Ben (Mitchell Hope), the son of Queen Belle and King Beast.

Descendants 2 is set to air on the Disney Channel some time in 2017.
