USMC Captain Matthew Phelps and boyfriend Ben Schock, who he famously proposed to at the White House in December of last year, tied the knot in Seattle over the weekend.

Phelps proposal to Schock, in front of the White House Christmas Tree, went viral last year when it was picked up by various sites and outlets. At the time the couple said they were "blown away" by the love and support they were receiving.

On their personal blog the couple says they are now on their honeymoon in Kaua’i, and loving every minute of it.
