Michael B. Jordan Responds To Gay Allegations
They say you're no one in Hollywood until the gay rumors start, so Michael B. Jordan can officially consider himself a star: Clapping back against gossip about his sexuality, the Creed star took to Instagram to shade "angry bitter" trolls.
An unknown Instagram user created a fake account to comment on a recent photo of Jordan's, insisting he was the actor's secret male lover. He claimed he had video to prove it.
"I've given you two years of my life, Michael—two years!" the mystery troll wrote. ""You will never find someone who's going to love you like I did."
While most commenters didn't believe @tradeatl123456's allegations, a few responded in kind with accusations that Jordan was on secretly gay, and possibly sleeping with his Fruitvale Station and Creed director Ryan Coogler.
Surprisingly, Jordan responded to the gossip in an Instagram video.
“I usually don’t comment creep but, you know, sh*t, today I got time,” he said. “So look, whoever’s angry, bitter, upset for whatever reason, grow the f*ck up ‘cause karma’s real. And I usually take the high road. I usually don’t say sh*t, I just let it roll [off] because people are going to be people. Everybody has their opinion. That’s what the Internet’s for. They going to say whatever.”
Perhaps considering the spirit of the season, he then seemed to backtrack.
“On second thought, why am I even giving energy to that sh*t on this day?" Jordan asked.
"Y’all my fans. Y’all don’t need to hear me ranting about some B.S. Enjoy your family, enjoy your blessings, enjoy the people you hold close and cherish that.”
Below, Jordan and his That Awkward Moment costars Miles Teller and Zac Efron bro it up with Logo TV's Brittany Berkowitz, and reveal who they'd go gay for. Theoretically, of course.
