Where Is the Cher-Streisand Political Gabfest We Want and Deserve?

A podcast? A "View"-like roundtable? Just give us something, for diva's sake!

It's an election year, but honestly, when isn't it? Moreover, it's Super Tuesday, and that means celebrities are going to be urging you to vote—and unless they're former "star" Antonio Sabato Jr., they're probably urging you to vote with the end goal of kicking Donald Trump out of office.

Case in point: Barbra Streisand, who's been politically vocal for most of her career and is basically fresh out of fucks at this point in her life, has penned an op-ed for Variety about the need to dump Trump.

"Yes, Mr. Trump, let’s make America great again," Babs writes. "But first, get one thing straight: America was great—before you were elected."

Streisand's fellow Oscar-winning diva Cher is also known for her political activeness, having recently given her hallowed endorsement to noted comeback kid Joe Biden.

Surely, both are ready to go back out on tour… for the eventual Democratic nominee. But it's 2020. Why not appeal to a new generation of gays and voters with a political podcast?

Ideally we'd get a View-type scenario with Babs in the Whoopi chair, Cher balancing the table on the other end, Bette Midler serving Joy Behar realness, and a younger uninformed diva (say, this one?) annoying everyone else. But we're talking septuagenarian legends here. They're too busy and/or just not in the mood for that kind of commitment.

However, speaking into a microphone miles away from one another? That's right up their alley. Picture it: Diva Save America! Jumpsuit Politics! Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me Not to Live, Just Sit and Putter!

Considering how sideways this election could go, we need our best and brightest and bawdiest on the frontlines offering up their unsolicited but still wholly welcome opinions.

Mamas, can you hear me?
