Swerlking can't be stopped!

On hiatus since 2012, Scissor Sisters reunited this past summer in collaboration with MNDR to release “Swerlk,” a sassy benefit single honoring victims of Orlando’s Pulse nightclub tragedy.

The dance track has already raised more than $35,000 for the Contigo Fund, an organization formed last year in the wake of the Pulse massacre to support LGBT and Latinx communities in the Central Florida area.

Teaming up with Indaba Music, Scissor Sisters and MNDR recently held a worldwide remix competition for "Swerlk." U.K. DJ Martin Sharp's remix was named the winner, edging out runners-up Zefir from Poland, Plus Beat’Z from Brazil, and Sonic Emblem from Japan.

All four "Swerlk" remixes are now available to download and stream. As with the original, 100% of proceeds from sales and streams of the "Swerlk" remixes will be donated to the Contigo Fund.

"Glad to support such a great cause,” says Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears in a statement. “Through music hopefully we can help to bring people together and provide support for the LGBT Latinx community in Orlando.”

"Swerlk is about celebrating life, dancing, individuality, differences, fierceness, and sometimes Swerlk is even a shoulder to cry on," MNDR adds. "The Swerlk is not only a dance floor anthem, but it is a way of life, a mindset, and a show of solidarity.”
