Queens React to Heartbreaking Death of "RuPaul's Drag Race" Producer

"I could never express in words her invaluable contribution to the success of 'Drag Race.'"

RuPaul's Drag Race and World of Wonder have lost a key member of their family.

Jacqueline Wilson, a Drag Race co-executive producer, has passed away. She began as a supervising producer on the reality series in 2012, and she was promoted to executive producer in 2015. Her cause of death has not been made public, but queens from the show, including RuPaul herself, have spoken out on her heartbreaking death.

"I could never express in words her invaluable contribution to the success of Drag Race, and to all the lives of those who were fortunate enough to have worked alongside her. Love always, my friend," Ru tweeted.

Drag Race Season 6 winner Bianca Del Rio posted photos with Wilson on Instagram, thanking her for her generosity and the "endless laughs."

Wilson took home an Emmy last year when Drag Race won Outstanding Reality Competition Program, and she was nominated again this year. The Primetime Emmys are airing this Sunday, September 15.

"This summer we had the pleasure of producing season 12 with Jacqueline. To the very end she was devoted to telling the stories of the queens that she loved so much," World of Wonder posted on Facebook. "Jacqueline is nominated for her second Emmy this year, and when her work family gathers for the Emmy ceremony, this year we'll be celebrating Jacqueline Wilson's Drag Race."

Rest in peace, Jacqueline.
