Stock up on tissues and clear your schedules for March 15 because Netflix just announced that's when the third season of Queer Eye will be dropping on the streaming service.
The premiere date was announced in a new video uploaded on social media featuring a text conversation between the Queer Eye guys as they ask each other what they are doing for Valentine's Day, with Antoni saying he will be "listening to CRJ."
That's because the Emotion-al legend, Carly Rae Jepsen, used the Queer Eye announcement video to debut her latest bop, "Now That I Found You." New theme song alert?
Not only has a new season on its way, but the boys are moving locations as well. The first two seasons were set in Georgia since they were filmed at the same time, but the new season was filmed in—and around—Kansas City, Missouri. The Fab Five were also recently in Japan filming a miniseries titled Queer Eye: We're in Japan!, which will feature them bonding with four Tokyo residents who applied for makeovers.
“In just a year since we launched season one, Queer Eye has become a global phenomenon once again and the Fab Five are truly the ambassadors of self-care and compassion that the world needs now more than ever,” series creator David Collins told Deadline. “Filming in Japan is a wonderful opportunity for us to work with four deserving heroes that will help showcase the incredible traditions and customs of their country.”
Resident style guru Tan France of Queer Eye has confirmed that Season 3 of the hit Netflix series will feature the show’s first lesbian makeover.
Chatting with Patriot Act host Hasan Minhaj, France teased the tidbit: “We have our first lesbian on the show this year—yep, and she’s formidable. What we do with her, I think you’re gonna love it.”
Queer Eye Season 3 premieres March 15 on Netflix.
