Aaron Rodgers, Packers Quarterback, Denies Rumors: "I'm Not Gay"

“I’m just going to say I’m not gay,” Rodgers told 540 ESPN Radio in Milwaukee. “I really, really like women. That’s all I can really say about that.”

The Super Bowl MVP was alleged to have been in a longterm relationship with his roommate, Kevin Lanflisi, in a story that first appeared on The Fame Driven.

“There’s always going to be silly stuff out there in the media which you can’t worry too much about, and I don’t,” Rodgers said today. “I think professional should be professional, and personal is personal.”

The Fame Driven article included a number of deleted tweets from Lanflisi showing the two partying together and Lanflisi trying on Rodgers' Super Bowl ring. In one tweet, Lanflisi wrote "I wish you would learn to love people and use things and not the other way around" and in another, he warned that “silence always comes with an expiration date.” The site alleged Rodgers was one of several NFL players planning on coming out this year, but that his decision to remain closeted led to the breakup with Lanflisi.

Is Rodgers doing damage control, or is he being kind to a Single White Female type who is seeing more in their relationship than ever existed. We have a suspicion there's more to come in this story.
