Many think Debbie Jellinsky, Joan Cusack's character from Addams Family Values, is the campiest thing about the Addams Family, and that might have been true until a recent party celebrating the new Netflix original series, Wednesday.
This past week, Netflix and MOST transformed Los Globos in L.A.'s Silver Lake neighborhood into a garden of gothic delights for "WednesGay" — an event that transported attendees into the world of Wednesday, with the help of performances from RuPaul's Drag Race queens Gottmik, Violet Chachki, Mo Heart, and Crystal Methyd.
Wednesday actors Hunter Doohan and Johnna Dias-Watson were in attendance, and other guests included Chris Colfer, Delta Work, Jamal Sims, Jennie Garth, Jiggly Caliente, June Jambalaya, Leo Shang, and recent Logo Spill guests Brandon Kyle Goodman and Ts Madison.
Madison, who hosted the event, also had a drop-dead gorgeous photoshoot in a Wednesday-themed hearse parked outside the party. She already done had hearses!
"I love Wednesday Addams — she’s a goth icon! I think the Addams family as a whole is such an iconic goth family," Violet Chachki told Out. "Wednesday in particular stands out especially to me as a young emo/scene kid because she really owned the angsty teen vibe. Her look is so simple, iconic, and chic."
