If you were one of those Queens fans in the audience, who were wondering if everything you saw on the screen was accurate—or just needed more Freddie Mercury, there is another movie about the Queen frontman, The Freddie Mercury Story: Who Wants To Live Forever, which dives deeper into his gay clubbing days and his AIDS diagnosis.

The docu-drama aired on Channel 5 in the U.K. back in 2016, and starred John Blunt as Mercury. The movie was a mix of recreated scenes from the singer's life and interviews with those closest to Mercury, including his friends and those who worked with him.

When The Freddie Mercury Story aired the actors were criticized for their "wooden acting," but if you want to learn more about Mercury's final days the film is worth checking out.
