The season premiere for RuPaul's Drag Race is finally here, and now that you are getting to know the new batch of queens, find out how Ru chose these ladies to be on the series.

"Our show is put together as an ensemble so each girl represents a different genre," he told Entertainment Tonight in an interview about the new season. "We are looking for authenticity. A lot of the queens will send in an audition reel where they do the exact same as the girl before."

What advice does he have for queens auditioning for future seasons?

"It's important not just for our drag queens but everyone listening find your authentic self. Know thyself and deliver it at all times—that is when the party begins."
