During last night's (Oct. 27) episode of Call Me Kat, Fox aired a touching tribute honoring the legendary Leslie Jordan, one of the sitcom's cast members. The video shows memorable moments of Jordan from Call Me Kat and his appearances on other Fox shows such as The Cool Kids, Fantasy Island, Lego Masters, and The Masked Singer.
The video ends with Fox promising the viewers that Jordan will be “forever a part of the Fox family."
Jordan is probably best known to mainstream audiences for his Emmy-winning role as Beverly Leslie on Will & Grace, and the YouTube account of the NBC sitcom also released a tribute video to the actor, featuring his best bits from his many appearances on the groundbreaking sitcom.
As Logo previously reported, Jordan's Will & Grace co-stars were just one of the many celebrities and famous friends who posted heartbreaking tributes to the late actor:
"My heart is broken. Leslie Jordan was one of the funniest people I ever had the pleasure of working with," his Will & Grace co-star Sean Hayes tweeted upon hearing the news. of Jordan's death. "Everyone who ever met him, loved him. There will never be anyone like him. A unique talent with an enormous, caring heart. You will be missed, my dear friend."
Eric McCormack, who played Will on the series, said: "Crushed to learn about the loss of @thelesliejordan, the funniest & flirtiest southern gent I’ve ever known. The joy and laughter he brought to every one of his #WillandGrace episodes was palpable."
Megan Mullally, who played Karen Walker, the arch-nemesis of Jordan's character, Beverly Leslie, posted a loving tribute on Instagram: "My heart is breaking. I really can’t believe it. Leslie Jordan was, hands down, one of the greats... Love you, Leslie. Miss you already. And one thing I know for sure… there will never ever be another you."
Logo will air a special marathon dedicated to Jordan, with fan-favorite episodes of Will & Grace featuring his character, Beverly Leslie. “Logo Remembers Leslie Jordan” will air Sunday, 10/30 starting at 10pm ET.
