Laith Ashley Feels "Grateful" Playing Taylor Swift's "Lavender Haze" Lover

"This is an experience I will never forget," tweeted the trans actor and model.

We are feeling the "Lavender Haze" creepin' up on us — and we just wanna stay.

Taylor Swift kept Swifties up past their bedtimes once again as we waited for the highly-anticipated new music video from her latest album. Not only did the "Mastermind" mastermind release her 10th studio album, Midnights, last year, she also revealed the collection was actually a visual album, and there would be a music video for each of the 13 tracks.

Swift premiered visuals for the songs "Anti-Hero" and "Bejeweled" in the days following the album release, and on Fri, Jan. 27 she dropped the latest video, this one for the fan-favorite track "Lavender Haze."

The video — which Swift directed — features plenty of purple, a dreamy dance party, and Laith Ashley as her swoon-worthy "Lavender Haze" romantic lead.

Following the video's release, Swift posted on Instagram, saying: "This was the first video I wrote out of the 3 that have been released, and this one really helped me conceptualize the world and mood of Midnights, like a sultry sleepless 70’s fever dream."

The "Karma" singer also took to Twitter to praise her co-star: "There is lots of lavender. There is lots of haze. There is my incredible costar @laith_ashley who I absolutely adored working with."

Ashley retweeted Swift, thanking her for allowing him "to play a small part in your story. You are brilliant and this is an experience I will never forget." A few hours later he followed up with another tweet: "Still at a loss for words. Trying to gather myself and my thoughts. I am so grateful."

Back in October, the trans model, singer, activist, and "noted snack" posted the visual album trailer to his Instagram Story, calling the "August" songstress "magic." Ashley also reposted fans who posted the video with "Team #lailor."
