Rentboy.com has created a "Cash4Class" scholarship fund designed to help escorts who advertise on their site to afford school.

To win the $1500 fund, the boys can either submit a 500-1000 word essay or a 1-5 minute video that answers the following question: "Why is going to school part of achieving your dream?"

CockyBoys adult film star Colby Keller will be the official judge of the entries.

"Like many of you, sex work was a way for me to help pay for school. I still have a few student loans to pay off...or never pay off, as the case may be," said Keller in a video announcing the scholarship.

"Despite that fact, knowledge really is power, right?" he continued. "The power to articulate the world around us, and the power to change it. There are many people out there in the world who want to keep that power from us. There's no better tool we have to fight with than a well worked-out noggin."

Escort Leo Sweetwood agrees.

"I don't think the general public gives porn stars enough credit, and they don't see porn stars as smart," says Sweetwood. "They don't see that a lot of porn stars are business owners or they are college graduates or PHDs; some of them are pursuing medical school."

The scholarship has a deadline of September 15th, and will be open to current Rentboy.com advertisers who have proof of enrollment in college or classes.
