Here’s Where the “We’re Here” Queens Are Headed in Season 3

The new season premieres Nov. 25 on HBO and HBO Max.

Keep your eyes peeled for an elephant bus because the We're Here queens are hitting the road again.

Bob the Drag Queen, Eureka, and Shangela are back for a new season of the Emmy-winning HBO docuseries, and this time they are headed to some of the most conservative areas of the U.S.

For the upcoming third season of We're Here, the drag trio will be sashaying through Granbury, TX; St. George, UT; Brevard County, FL; Jackson, MS; and Sussex, NJ. The queens will kick off the new season in Florida, where storylines will involve the state's "Don't Say Gay" bill, and the 2016 Pulse nightclub shooting.

"We have a Pulse survivor as one of our drag kids," co-creator Stephen Warren told EW. "His transformation is jaw-dropping. He had multiple friends die that night. Pulling his life back together and doing this show is a major moment in his life. He's phenomenal."

The new season of We're Here has already made headlines, even before the Nov. 25 premiere. Earlier this summer, town officials in St. George, UT, sought to prevent a drag show from being filmed for an episode — but the production ultimately went on as planned.

"Like any show, we have challenges when it comes to production, but the challenges we have faced in St. George reveal the hidden forces that don't want LGBTQ people to be visible, to gather and to celebrate," co-creator Johnnie Ingram said in a statement. "Tonight's show will go on and is a step in the right direction for the community and we are proud that so many people came out to support us and our drag show."

"We believe it's important to stand up for your rights and for what you believe in and to see the local community stand up for us and their right to exist and celebrate in such a majestic town is inspiring," Ingram continued. "That's the meaning of We're Here and we hope that our show is just the beginning of many, many more."

Will the drag trio be able to top Bob the Drag Queen's epic wig reveal from Season 2? Find out when the six-episode third season of We're Here premieres Friday, Nov. 25 on HBO and HBO Max.
