Are Bill Nye And "Star Trek" Doctor Robert Picardo Having An Affair?: Today In Gay

bill nye robert picardoBill Nye has to deal with some weird rumors—like he one that he died back in February. Now there's a claim he's having a gay affair with actor Robert Picardo, best known as the holographic doctor on Star Trek: Voyager.

It's actually Picardo's estranged wife, Linda Pawlik, claiming her hubby is getting with the Science Guy

According to TMZ, Picardo has stated in court documents that he’d “made it to 60 without having sex with a man and a ‘walk on the wild side’ at this age seemed unlikely to anyone who knows me.”

Picardo and Pawlik’s daughter Nicky went on Twitter to defend her dad, declaring her mom "is unwell."

The Chicago White Sox has announced its first ever LGBT Pride night. "Out at the Sox" is scheduled for August 16, when the team takes on the Toronto Blue Jays.  Anti-gay neanderthals have, predictably, threatened a boycott.

Earlier this year, the Sultan of Brunei declared homosexuality punishable by death via the barbaric practice.

Unite Here! Local 11, which represents hospitality workers in Southern California, organized the protest and posted images online:  "Stoning is an extremely violent, gruesome form of the death penalty," the union said in a press release. "You are buried standing up, with just your head and neck above the ground. Then people throw stones at you until you’re dead.”

A new gay character is coming to Glee (Yes, the show is still on) when the series returns for its abbreviated and final season.  TVLine reports that one of five new characters being introduced in Season 6 is Spencer, a “football stud” and a “post-Glee gay — no one messes with him about his sexuality because he will kick their asses if they do.”

Post-Glee gay? Do we smell a spinoff?

Glee‘s previous gay footballer Dave Karofsky (Max Adler) was pretty out of the ordinary—a husky bully who eventually came out—so maybe Spencer has potential.

Also entering the mix are Mason and Madison, twin Cheerios. They’re super-peppy and, though straight, apparently Mason gives off "a gay vibe."

Michael Egan, the man who is accusing Bryan Singer of sexual abuse when Egan was a minor, has withdrawn his lawsuit against the X-Men director.
