Michelle Visage Officially Joins Judges' Panel on "RuPaul's Drag Race U.K."
RuPaul is bringing his best Judy, Michelle Visage, across the pond with him.
After years of rumors, the BBC announced back in December that RuPaul’s Drag Race U.K. is officially happening, as a new eight-part series set to air on BBC Three in 2019. “I am beyond excited to celebrate the massive charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent of the Queen’s queens,” Ru said in a statement. “And before anyone asks, yes, we would be thrilled to have Meghan Markle join us, as we are already preparing a 'Royal-Mother-To-Be' runway challenge.”
At the time of the announcement Drag Race judge Michelle tweeted that "of course" she would be one of the judges on the new international version, and now the BBC has made it official that everyone's favorite squirrel friend will be critiquing the British queens.
"We've been working tirelessly to bring the magic of RuPaul's Drag Race to my favorite city in the world: London," Michelle told the BBC. "I know the UK has a wealth of talent to offer and I'm thrilled beyond belief to see these queens battle it out on the main stage, UK-style! GOD SAVE THE QUEENS!"

Michelle recently finished her run as Miss Hedge in the West End production of Everybody's Talking About Jamie, and she just shared the news that she will be undergoing surgery to remove her breast implants.
"Hey guys, I’m posting this to give you some news. This is the last time you are going to see me with these. I know they’re a national treasure. I believe for the past 20 years these breast implants have been making me sick," she said in a video posted to her Instagram.
Here's to a speedy recovery, and we can't wait to see her on the RuPaul's Drag Race U.K. judges' panel!
