Star Trek: Discovery and 13 Reasons Why star Wilson Cruz is gracing the pages of London magazine JÓN and our phasers have been set to stunned, thirsty, and longing.
The 44-year-old actor who rose to fame and broke ground playing gay teen Rickie Vasquez in the 90's favorite My So-Called Life is still pushing the envelope—and looking incredible while doing so.
Last year, Star Trek: Discovery made history for having the first openly gay relationship in the franchise’s history. On the series, Cruz's character (Dr. Hugh Culber) is in a relationship with Lieutenant Paul Stamets (Anthony Rapp). And for the first time in the show's 50-year history, two men locked lips.
"I hope in 50 years we are teaching the struggle for LGBTQ equality as an unreal moment in U.S. history," Cruz told NewNowNext earlier this year. "I hope by then it’ll be ridiculous to people that we had to ask for our rights."
While it TBD if Cruz will be returning to Star Trek (that's all we'll say to avoid spoilers, but you really should be caught up by now, but whatever), we know from the star's Instagram hints that he's been filming 13 Reasons Why—and our so-called hearts are ready.
