Who Are Your Favorite Divas Voting for in 2020?

Maybe it’s time to ask yourself: “What would Dua Lipa do?”

Is it really a presidential election year if our cherished pop divas and Hollywood icons don't weigh in on the frenzy? No. No, it isn't.

With Democrats dropping like fies from the 2020 race, we really can't calm down. But if you still haven't made up your mind about how you'll cast your vote on November 3, perhaps it's time to ask yourself, "What would Dua Lipa do?"

Here, we check in with her, Babs, Bette, Cher, and seven more of our favorite formidable ladies to see just where they stand.

Bette Midler

The Hocus Pocus actress seemed to be backing Mike Bloomberg late last month. But after the former New York City mayor suspended his campaign, Midler set her sights on former Vice President Joe Biden and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.

"One of the tragedies of Bloomberg leaving the race is his extraordinary support for sensible gun control laws," she tweeted. "I pray that [Biden] and [Sanders] pick up his mantle and that we solve this conundrum once and for all."

Cher

Do you believe in life after Trump? Cher does, and she's hoping Biden will steer the ship (much to the disappointment of some of her more outspoken LGBTQ fans).

Diana Ross

It's inconclusive with Diana, though the "I'm Coming Out" singer is not feeling "what's going on in our world," according to a video clip from a recent performance. We'll keep you posted.

Taylor Swift

The Lover crooner has not formally endorsed a candidate, but after releasing her pro-LGBTQ hit single "You Need to Calm Down" (and a note in her Netflix doc, Miss Americana, about voting for the Democratic nominee), she is clearly not backing Trump.

The "Physical" singer is feelin' the Bern, according to her Twitter.

Janelle Monáe

Little known fact: Janelle's "I Like That" was actually about voting for your Democrat of choice in your state's primaries. She's not revealing her choice just yet, though.

She's not for Trump, that's for sure! The legend recently penned a lengthy and merciless Variety op-ed spelling out her qualms with 45.

"Trump is a man who has never once taken responsibility for his own actions, preferring to blame others when he’s at fault," the actress and singer wrote. "The 'beacon of hope' that is America could be extinguished if he’s given another four years. In this upcoming election, we must bring back dignity and grace. We must care about the facts, the planet, each other, and the least fortunate among us."

Laura Dern

Did nabbing an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress make Laura Dern proud? Yes—and so did going out to vote for the first time with one of her children on Super Tuesday.

Dern hasn't endorsed a candidate, but we trust this onscreen royalty and vocal LGBTQ ally to keep Americans' best interests at heart.

The Grace and Frankie star hasn't endorsed a presidential candidate yet, but given her frequent, on-the-ground activism for liberal causes, we're gonna guess she's voting blue.

Earth is canceled, so who's to say what Mother Monster wants? Hopefully the leader of Chromatica treats their LGBTQ citizens with respect.

Debra Messing

The Will & Grace star is officially backing the former veep.

"Joe is a unifier," Messing tweeted, noting in an accompanying video that the politician has "been an ally to the LGBTQ community" and voted to pass the Violence Against Women Act.
