Geri Halliwell, Mel B and Emma Bunton are finally ready to confirm rumors of a Spice Girls reunion for the first time since they started last August.

In a video uploaded to a new YouTube channel today — the 20th anniversary of their debut hit single "Wannabe" — the three girls reveal they have something planned to celebrate their pop culture dominance, though they're not quite ready to share it.

Yesterday, The Sun reporter Dan Wootton published an article in which he claimed to have inside knowledge of a concert the trio is planning at Hyde Park, London next summer. According to the report, the girls are still trying to convince Victoria Beckham and Mel C to join them for another hoo-rah.

Said the girls:

"We've been thinking. We have the best fans in the whole entire world — you've stood by us for 20 years and we want to say a big 'thank you.'

We've had our ups and downs, but you've always been there. And we want to celebrate and have a party, and when we do, you're all invited! Thank you so much!"

A title card reads: "Happy 20th birthday to all our fans. This is a celebration for you! We hope to tell you soon what you want, what you really really want… #Wannabe."

The new channel, titled "Spice Girls GEM," presumably stands for "Spice Girls Geri, Emma, and Mel B."

It's unclear whether "GEM" is the name of a new Spice Girls shootoff group sans Victoria and Mel C, though it would be a cute rebranding move if the latter girls ultimately decide to decline a reunion.
