Call me what you want, but someone call the wardrobe department!
Lil Nas X, the chart-topping out rapper of “Old Town Road” fame, brought his Satanic stripper pole to this past weekend's season finale of Saturday Night Live, performing his massive hit, "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)." While Satan wasn't there in person, Lil Nas still took to the stripper pole to show off some devilish dance moves — and in the process, he ripped his leather pants live on national television.
Luckily, he was able to recover from his wardrobe malfunction by holding his hand over his crotch for the remainder of his steamy performance, but even Lil Nas had to post a video of him watching the embarrassing pant-ripping moment.
Lil Nas X's SNL stunt set Twitter ablaze with tweets praising him for being so unabashedly queer during his performance. In addition to stripper pole moves, his SNL debut also featured shirtless male backup dancers, one who licked up the singer's neck and face. Is it hot in here or are we just feeling Hell's flames?
Later in the episode he performed his latest single, "Sun Goes Down," and he also appeared alongside SNL castmembers Bowen Yang and Kate McKinnon in the original video short, "Pride Month Song," all about queer people partying it up, making up for missing out on Pride Month last year.
