Our Lives Are Complete: Wonder Woman Is Teaming Up With The Bionic Woman!
Two of the most iconic figures from '70s television will officially team up later this year, when Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman joins forces with Lindsay Wagners's Bionic Woman in the new crossover series, titled Wonder Woman '77 Meets The Bionic Woman.
The series, a team-up between DC Comics and Dynamite Entertainment, will be written by out author Andy Mangels, with Judit Tondora doing artistic duties and Alex Ross and Cat Staggs providing covers.
"I'm thrilled to get to mix these two feminist icons into a massive story," said Mangels. "[One] that respects not only the characters themselves, but also the magic that Lynda Carter and Lindsay Wagner brought to their history-changing roles."
According to the press notes, these super ladies will team up to save the world from a rogue cabal trying to steal deadly weapons and wreak havoc.
"The Bionic Woman and Wonder Woman television series were some of the most exciting of their time, and these two characters perfectly complement one another," says Dynamite CEO Nick Barrucci.
"To finally see them together is a historic event for an entire generation of fans. This is going to be one of the most exciting crossovers we've done yet!"
