Queens, get ready to start your engines! The highly-anticipated new season of RuPaul's Drag Race U.K. now has a premiere date: Sept. 22 on BBC Three and WOW Presents Plus. The date announcement was unveiled in a new teaser promo for Season 4, where we get a glimpse of the mysterious queens competing this season.
Last year, RuPaul crowned Krystal Versace the winner of Drag Race U.K. Season 3. At the time, Krystal was only 20 years old, making her the youngest winner in the franchise's herstory.
"Ru saw something in me. I was obviously meant to take that crown," Krystal told Logo after her win. "You know, there's a lot of signs when I started drag, so many full-circle moments, I really, truly believe it was meant to happen."
After the Season 3 finale, viewers didn't have to wait long to return to the Drag Race U.K. stage when RuPaul's Drag Race U.K. vs. the World premiered this past Feb. The series pitted queens from Drag Race U.K. against fan favorites from other Drag Race franchises, like Pangina Heals from Drag Race Thailand, Jimbo from Canada's Drag Race, and Jujubee and Mo Heart from multiple seasons of U.S. Drag Race.
In the end, the final four were Baga Chipz, Blu Hydrangea, Jujubee, and Mo Heart. Eventually, Blu and Mo were the two left standing, competing in a lip-sync smackdown for the crown to "Supernova" by Kylie Minogue. Though Mo put up a good fight, Ru crowned Blu the winner.
So who will take home the crown on Season 4 of Drag Race U.K? We don't even know which queens will be stomping into the workroom, but we do know the celebrity guest judges who will be joining Ru, Michelle visage, Alan Carr, and Graham Norton at the judges' panel.
So put a kettle on while we wait for the queen RuVeal, and block Sept. 22 off on your calendars for when RuPaul's Drag Race U.K. Season 4 premieres on BBC Three and WOW Presents Plus.
