Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys, New Coaches On "The Voice"

They'll join regular coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, marking the first time that two women are on the panel at once.

NBC has confirmed that Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys will serve as the new judges on the 11th season of The Voice, replacing current coaches Christina Aguilera and Pharrell Williams.

The ladies will be in charge of their own teams on the upcoming season, joining mainstays Adam Levine and Blake Shelton on the popular reality competition.

The coaches on the show are often rotated in and out, but the addition of Cyrus and Keys is a historic moment for the series, as it will be the first time that there is more than one woman on the panel in 11 seasons.

"The musical expertise and energy these two incredibly talented women will bring to the show is remarkable," NBC's Paul Telegdy said in a statement. "We're thrilled that they’ll be joining Adam and Blake in what we know will be a magical 11th season."

The singers already have practice being on the show. Alicia served as a mentor during the competition's seventh season, and Miley will appear as an advisor during the upcoming March 28 and 29 episodes.
