On Thursday (March 17), GALECA: The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics announced the winners of the 13th annual Dorian Awards, highlighting the best in film and television. Netflix's western The Power of the Dog was awarded Best Film, Best Director, and Best Screenplay for Jane Campion. The animated documentary Flee walked away with four awards, including Best LGBTQ Film, Best Documentary, Best LGBTQ Documentary, and GALECA’s first-ever Best Animated Film honor.

Kristen Stewart won Best Film Performance for her role in Spencer, while West Side Story star Ariana DeBose, walked away with two honors: Best Supporting Performance and Rising Star. Iconic director Pedro Almodóvar was awarded GALECA’s special Wilde Artist, as well as LGBTQIA+ Trailblazer. Rita Moreno won Timeless Star for her decades of unparalleled work on stage and screen. Past recipients of the Timeless Star award include Jane Fonda, Ian McKellen, John Waters, Meryl Streep, Harvey Fierstein, and Betty White.

House of Gucci was largely shut out of the Oscars, but at the Dorian Awards, it snatched the trophy for Campiest Flick, which shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who watched the Ridley Scott drama.

The Dorian Awards are voted on by members of GALECA, a group of 350 critics, journalists, and broadcasters in the U.S., Canada, and Australia. Find the full list of winners here.
