Gideon Glick Will Play a Good Gay Boyfriend on “The Other Two”

The Tony nominee currently stars in "Little Shop of Horrors."

The Other Two is adding a significant other.

Gideon Glick has been cast as a love interest in the upcoming sophomore season of Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider’s Comedy Central series, Deadline reports.

Glick, 31, will fill the recurring role of Jess, new boyfriend of aspiring actor Cary Dubek (Drew Tarver), described as "a laid back guy who seems very into Cary and very able to roll with the punches."

Glick earned a Tony nomination for his performance as Dill Harris, a young queer boy based on Truman Capote, in Aaron Sorkin’s Broadway adaptation of Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird. He currently stars as Seymour in the off-Broadway revival of Little Shop of Horrors.

After making his Broadway debut in 2006 as a queer teen in Spring Awakening, the out actor went on to tackle more gay roles in shows like Speech & Debate, Wild Animals You Should Know, and Significant Other. “The fact that I get to play all these different, rich, textured gay men is a privilege and an honor,” he told NewNowNext in 2017. “If I can make a career out of that, I’d be more than happy.”

Glick's TV and film credits include Devious Maids, Ocean’s Eight, and Marriage Story.

The Other Two's first season ended in March 2019, and its second season is currently in production.
