Fans of Netflix's 13 Reasons Why lost their minds last week when rumors started to fly that Miles Heizer (Alex Standall) and Brandon Flynn (Justin Foley) might be dating in real life.

And it made sense why they'd think that—the pair have shared several cute photos on Instagram recently of them hanging out solo or with their fellow castmates.

Arguably, the shots are pretty adorable and had fans thinking that it must mean the two had found a love connection.

Unfortunately for these shippers, a rep for Heizer confirmed this week that he's not dating Flynn.

“This is a false report,” the rep reportedly told Page Six. “Miles and Brandon are friends from the show but are not dating.”

Though the news will disappoint some fans, a strong platonic bond between friends is always something worth celebrating!
