Today In Gay: Damn Sexy "Blurred Lines" Parody, Miley's Lesbian Rumors, More

All the shade the Texas Legislature is throwing at women representatives like Wendy Davis inspired #StandwithWomen to produce this parody of Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines,"  featuring fierce ladies being either taunted or seduced (we're not sure which) by a bevy of bodacious hunks. You've got our vote!

Then again, not all gays want women to have full reproductive rights. File under WTF.

Did you know Miley Cyrus was the subject of lesbian rumors. According to her she was, anyway: "Everyone said I was a lesbian but I’m like, ‘Being a lesbian isn’t a bad thing, Miley told the Toronto Sun. "So if you think I look like I’m a lesbian, I’m not offended... Being a lesbian is a compliment more than what else they call me.” Sounds like part of Miss Cyrus' campaign to revamp her image. What's next–tales of how she was bullied on the set of Hannah Montana?

After the legislature in Porterville,CA, decided to play take-backsies with a LGBT Month proclamation, activists got themselves arrested on disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace charges. Maybe they took offense at people like Trina Leon, who told the City Council, "For us to accept this proclamation would be calling God's word, the holy Bible, a lie.

Finally waking up and smelling the coffee weeks after the fact, attorneys for the House Republicans's Bipartisan Legal Advisory Group (the one that's been trying to defend DOMA) have  officially given up the ghost. "The Supreme Court recently resolved the issue of DOMA Section 3’s constitutionality," their brief stated. "... The House has determined, in light of the Supreme Court’s opinion in Windsor, that it no longer will defend that statute." Hey guys, welcome to the 21st century.

And speaking of gay marriage, newlywed Jesse Tyler Ferguson will be onboard as  New Zealand’s first married couple take the two-hour flight from Queenstown to Auckland. (NZ's same-sex marriage law goes into effect August 21.) will the lucky Kiwi couple consummate their relationship in the Mile High Club? Whatever happens at 30,000 feet stays at 30,00 feet.
