The actor-activist goes from "Titans" to "Trans in Trumpland."

In 2019, transgender actor, model, and activist Chella Man joined the ranks of DC Universe’s Titans as Jericho, the son of Deathstroke. But now, Man is confronting something more dangerous than Darkseid or any comicbook villain: being a trans person in Trumpland.

Man is an executive producer of Trans in Trumpland, a new four-part docuseries from Topic following four transgender Americans just trying to survive in President Donald Trump's America.

In addition to his work in front of the camera, Man — who is Jewish/Chinese American, deaf, and genderqueer — has made a name for himself as an advocate for LGBTQ equality and disability justice. He also recently added "author" to his resume: Man's first book, Continuum, was published this month as part of Penguin Random House's Pocket Change Collective series.

When thinking back to his most memorable Pride moment, Man tells Logo it was his first Pride in New York City that changed him.

"Coming from a small town in central Pennsylvania, you never see visibly queer people out there in the streets celebrating their sexuality, celebrating their authenticity," he shares. "So to see that in the thousands in New York City I will never forget."
