Trixie Mattel And Katya Recreated The "Romy And Michele" Dance Sequence—And It Was Perfection

"Let's fold scarves!"

Did you know that Trixie Mattel and Katya invented Post-its?

The RuPaul's Drag Race queens might be bonafide TV stars now with their new Viceland series, The Trixie And Katya Show, but that doesn't mean they don't have time to go back to school.

This past weekend, the drag duo starred in Peaches Christ's latest original live show, Trixie And Katya's High School Reunion, a twist on the 1997 cinematic classic, Romy And Michele's High School Reunion—in honor of the film's 20th anniversary.

Trixie and Katya served their best '90s looks and reunited with their former "classmates" April Kidwell as "Christy Masters", Peaches Christ as "Peaches Mooney", Lady Bear as "Tobey", and Manuel Caneri as "Sandy," for two sold out shows at San Francisco's legendary Castro Theatre.

Now a drag queen version of Romy And Michele would not be complete without a performance of the iconic dance sequence from the film set to Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time"—and Trixie and Katya did not disappoint.

We know you are devastated that you were not there to witness the interpretive dance in person, but luckily some audience members captured a video of the queens serving their best Lisa Kudrow and Mina Sorvino impressions as they recreated the dance number live onstage.

Not only that, but for an encore at the end of the show, Trixie performed an acoustic version of "Time After Time" onstage, as Katya showed off her original dance moves—complete with headstands.

Are you seeing this Hollywood? Get on your flip phones because we need a Romy And Michele remake starring Trixie and Katya fast-tracked pronto.

RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 3 premieres this winter on VH1.
