While the 2017 Golden Globes boasted several moving acceptance speeches, a few teleprompter malfunctions and even a DJing Julia Louis-Dreyfus, one of the most memorable moments of the night came in the form of a sweet makeout between Ryan Reynolds and Andrew Garfield.

The duo locked lips as Ryan Gosling was going on stage to accept the award for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy for his role in La La Land.

Though it's unclear if the kiss was meant to console Reynolds for losing out to Gosling in the category or was simply the pair's spontaneous reaction after a glass (or two or three) of champagne, the surprising moment was met with resounding joy on social media.

And hey, as long as Blake Lively's into it, then so are we.
