When it comes to Japanese fashion, we agree that those folks definitely – to quote Gwen Stefani – have some pretty wicked style. Well, hold onto your closets because the country that gave us all things Harajuku and sneakers to die for is sending over ever increasing amounts of hot fashion. And no, we don't mean Uniqlo. (But that's fine, if you must.)

The wacky land of the "Gothic Lolita" petticoat-and-lace-umbrella craze is also the avant-garde fashion capital of Asia, where pop culture meets high design, money, technology, and the future. Hip and stylish 'hoods crop up faster than Godzilla can knock 'em down (e.g. the Nippon neighborhood).
